On April 23rd, 2021, at 9:07 a.m. ET, a configuration mismatch during a routine maintenance procedure caused the database which serves Sandbox Customer Portal and the Hitchhiker Site to return errors for certain operations. On discovery of elevated error rates, we immediately rolled back the configuration change and restored service at 9:25 a.m. ET.
We have updated the configuration delivery mechanism to prevent future errors of this kind.
