On April 3rd 2020, from 3:23 PM-3:56 PM US Eastern Time, the Reviews portion of our Customer Portal experienced a degraded service. Reviews were unavailable for viewing and response during this time. No data was lost during this incident.
One of the backend services which serves Reviews data ran out of resources due to high load, and became unable to serve requests. Restarting the server restored the service.
The root cause for this incident is shared for the recent incidents involving the Reviews platform. As such, we have deprioritized new feature development for the Reviews platform and are actively working to optimize long running queries and improve capacity in the Reviews platform backend.
