On April 30th, 2021 at 12.00 p.m. ET, we observed an elevated number of errors in our Customer Portal, specifically in the Listings area of the Portal. A fix was deployed by 1.05 p.m. ET, resolving the problem.
A change was deployed to remove some data in a Listings database, which some services depended on. Corresponding changes to these services were not made along with the database changes, resulting in the observed errors.
We will be reviewing our deployment procedures to ensure that all affected services are fully tested and deployed alongside similar future database changes.
