Starting at 9:01 PM EDT on April 30, 2018, many pages in the Reviews section of the Customer Portal started showing various error messages instead of successfully loading data from Yext's servers. The problem was remedied at 5:18 AM EDT on May 1. The issue affected only the Customer Portal interface; Yext's systems continued to monitor for reviews as normal through this time and no other features were affected.
A change to a previously unrecognized integration point between two systems behind the Customer Portal introduced an incompatibility when an update to one of the systems was deployed. This integration point has been updated to more easily support backward-compatible modifications, and improved documentation highlights its compatibility requirements.
