From approximately 10:00 AM ET on August 29th, 2025, to 11:00 AM ET on September 2nd, 2025, a subset of Content Endpoints experienced delayed updates from the Knowledge Graph. The availability of these endpoints was not affected.
The root cause was a network restart that occurred during routine server deployment. This inadvertently led to communication faults between certain event partitions, impacting update processing.
The issue was resolved by restarting the affected network elements, which resolved the communication issues and allowed queue processing to return to normal rates. Going forward, we are implementing service dependencies on the network elements to ensure that all dependent services are more strictly managed during changes, as well as adding more granular alerting in the application layer to better detect this type of condition.
