On October 10th, starting at 4:30 AM ET, the Analytics and Reviews portions of the Yext platform experienced elevated error rates. Yext engineers diagnosed and restored service to normal operations at 6:54 AM ET.
A primary database had a major hardware failure, and left Analytics and Reviews unable to serve many requests.
We have implemented a firmware patch from the hardware vendor to address the problem. We are also adjusting our telemetry so that we can react more quickly to issues like this.
